It is pretty obvious BP is ignorant to the fact what they have done to our Gulf. Relying on BP alone to help this disaster they have caused is pretty useless. But what can we do as individuals to help deal with oil spill caused by BP?

My first inclination was to boycott BP but that is not going to solve the problem and probably cause many small business owners that are not associated with BP to go out of business. What is going on right now is sad but we need to come together as citizens and help make this bad situation and turn it positive.

Help rescue birds and wildlife contact the  IBRRC or Save Our Seabirds . Purchase a bottle of Dawn and $1 will go towards the Marine Mammal Center and the International Bird Rescue Research Center to help clean off the oil soaked birds.

Many local business have been affected by the oil if you have a vacation already planned in a gulf city don’t cancel, help support the local economy that have done nothing to deserve losing business due to BP’s carelessness

Well it has been over a month and the oil spill is still no closer to being plugged. BP is only concerned with their image and although I have been a supporter of President Obama what has he done to deal with this crisis? I hear politicians who are in bed with the oil companies say things like “Don’t worry if you have a business BP will write you a check for your losses”, BP will make it right. Really? I don’t think BP gives a shit about anybody but BP. There are plenty of businesses affected already from this disaster. Fisherman, Tourism, Beaches..

The crazy thing is that we have all these environmental laws that would fine and prison any local citizen for polluting. If I would to pour a gallon of oil into the water they would lock me up and fine me. But BP has millions upon millions of oil spewing into the beautiful Gulf waters and nothing has been done? What are the consequences?  Why is nobody being held accountable? How can you not have a plan in place in case of a disaster (accident) like this?

Louisiana shores already have oil and now it is heading for Florida and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are going to be affected. People are already canceling their vacations to Florida. Not to mention the tons of wildlife the oil is going to kill.

I understand we need oil and rely on it so much, but not at this cost. To put in perspective of how much oil is leaking check out the tool below which is an estimate of the oil coming out per day.

Tell me what your thoughts are about this disaster. Do you think BP is responsible and needs to be held accountable? What can we do as citizens to help the situation. I thought of boycotting purchasing BP gas but come to find out that most of the stations are independently owned so really would only be hurting small business owners.

Bernard Madoff the disgraced white collar criminal is the worst of the worse and it really pisses me off that he is able to post bail and be under house arrest in his plosh luxury condo in which he lives at the expense of all his victims. This is absurd how the rich have a certain set of rules apply to them where if is what the average American who was arrested for stealing a car or burglary would more than likely spend more jail time than Bernie Madoff and all these white collar criminals who bilk people out of millions of dollars get a slap on the wrists.

I hope Bernie you are enjoying you last day’s living your luxury lifestyle and because your prison life is not going to be so comfortable, I know you are innocent until proven guilty but I can’t wait for the day a jury reads guilty and you are put away for a long time and wipe that cocky grin off your face.

Breaking news Casey Anthony has been indicted today on murder charges along with seven other counts. It was only a matter of time before Anthony was indicted. She will now face the murder charges of her three year old child even though Caley’s body has not been found. This will make the Casey Anthony protestors happy and a lot of people who feel she is guilty.

Gas stations price gouging

I am happy to see Florida’s Governor Charlie Christ cracking down on gas stations who are attempting to price gouge. Here in Florida I ran into several gas stations that had ran out of gas. This was before Hurricane Ike even hit Texas. Now I am no genius but I find it hard to believe these gas stations were not able to get their supply of gas prior to the hurricane.

In fact Christ reported that Florida fuel supply was not affected by Ike. So if this is the case why are so many stations covering up their pumps and saying they are out of gas and jacking up the prices. You can bet your last dollar these stations have gas in their supply, they are just speculating they will be able to raise the prices after the hurricane hit and will make a pretty profit on the gas they had already bought at a much lower price. I personally am going to boycott these stations that have done this because I don’t buy this crap.

I think 9/11 2001 is a day everyone can remember where we were and is a day that will live in infamy. It is hard to believe is has been seven years since the horrible terorist attack. I wish to take this time to remember all the victims and victims families.

I am like most people and believe Casey Anthony is guilty of killing her child. I don’t agree however with the protesters outside of the Anthony home. What are they trying to accomplish?, Do they really think Casey Anthony is going to succumb to them and start talking? The protestors are just making it more of a circus and not to mention disturbing the poor people who live in the community, it is not fair to them that these protesters are causing a ruckus in their neighborhood.

The authorities in time will arrest Anthony, I think these protesters need to get a life and let the law enforcement worry about the fate of Casey Anthony.  Now one of the protesters filed charges against the grandfather for shoving him off his own property.

Casey Anthony Opinion

Casey Anthony wearing her daughter’s Caley Have you seen me t-shirt just makes me sick. Anthony again is out of jail and her mom still living in denial now jawing with the media on a daily basis. This whole situation is just crazy. It will only be a matter of time before she will back in jail but this time facing murder charges.

The media is giving Casey Anthony what she wants which is infamy. She knows the clock is ticking for her and will most likely spend most of her life in jail. I don’t think she will ever confess and I don’t believe they will ever find Caley. I don’t know whether to feel sorry for Cindy Anthony Casey’s mom she is doing everything to protect her daughter but I think at this point she needs to keep her mouth shut and ignore the media instead of making herself look like a fool with excuses and denial. This is too big of high profile story that the Orange county office will have to move ahead with a case against Anthony even if Caley is never found. I do wish I am wrong and Caley is still alive and safe but as each day goes by and evidence mounts I am very skeptical.

Mike Gilbert the memorabilia dealer who made money from Oj Simpson years ago is now writing a book in which he claims on one night while smoking marijuana Simpson admitted to killing his wife. Do we really need a tell all book form a memorabilia dealer to tell us this? I think who ever would pay money on this is absolutely insane. What amazes me is what else is going to be in the book? Is it going to be 200 pages on what OJ admitted to him? That sounds like good reading. Ok we all know what OJ is all about we don’t need some stupid book from a desperate man to tell us.
