Personally I cast myself adrift in 1995 from the ‘job’ market and would never work for anyone but myself again. Going back to an earlier comment I find its bizarre that anyone purporting to be working in the internet marketing field is actually looking for a job in these uncertain times. There is so much opportunity to make your own way on the internet these days why would a so called IM expert work for someone else?

well, we are in a recession, so I am sure they will find someone who would take that offer. But don't expect any good one to stay long at that level of compensation.ryan

Experience is worth more than a degree in my experience.

That's not a great starting salary, but everyone has to start somewhere, and employers know this.

Hi,
I totally agree! If companies wanted the best employees there is, then they better pay up right.
I am sure those ads have a dual purpose. They get the company a link/ad on the web and if they get someone crazy enough to work for those low wages it is a bonus.
Thanks.

Sadly the competition with regards to internet marketing is highly saturated. This is due to cheap labor in some countries. They can even offer $3-$5 per hour. Bad thing is, people who hire them considers cheap labor than quality of work thats why most of their products are just worse than mediocre.

I'm not really familiar with craiglist, if it's the same with ebay, which of these two are the most safe to deal in a transaction?

I haven't tried using craiglist before, I am kind of guy that is very traditional, I always look in the newspaper for a job. Maybe, I should try it the next time I will be looking for a job.
