This happened to him before a few years back too.

It’s just more proof that Google control too much of our online businesses. Who are they to tell us what links we can or can’t have on our site?

It really annoys me that they have become the “cyber police” and we now have to conform to their every whim.

They even frown upon sites having nofollow on links like about pages and archive pages. Why? Those pages don’t offer real content to the user so why do the search engines need to find them?

I love so much about Google, but also hate so much about them too!

Google does indeed penalise poeple for some practices which we are even unsure of. Th sandbox is the most populr of them all i must say. I can really understand jon chow’s plight and i hope he recovers from it soon. More on the google sandox is revealed in this SEO product, Google Sniper, by George Brown. Hopefully it will clear some doubts about SEO and google sandbox.

As we can see we can be easily penalized by Google for some SEO practices. This is quite sensitive subject so we need to think twice before we start using some paid services and free techniques as well.

Dang that stinks!!
It makes you wonder about the methods you use to promote your website. It also makes me hesitant to rely solely on only marketing campaigns only. Imagine if that was you only marketing source and something like this happened?? DANG!!
