Ugh, I was really disappointed with the way this all ended. Despite my intense hatred for some of the players on both sides, I really wanted Doc Rivers to walk away with a championship…

Maybe this year we’ll see something more to my liking.

I think it was a wonderful game and a dream match up for the NBA. Having no rooting interest and disliking both teams it seemed awful unfair for the refs to give such an advantage to the home team Lakers in the the 4th and decisive quarter. I’m always for just letting the players play when it gets down to crunch time.

As the purple and gold confetti blasted Braynt said that this victory was by far the sweetest because it was the Celtics. The celebrations just don’t stop here. A victory parade as stated by the Lakers’ website will be conducted on 21st June, Monday which will start from the STAPLES center before heading south on Figueroa Street to Jefferson Boulevard, north of USC campus and Galen Center.

Over the past 50 years the Celtics have won an unprecedented 16 World Championships including 8 in a row from 1959-1966, making them the the most storied franchise in NBA history.

This game (and series) drove me crazy! I wanted the Celts to pull off the victory so bad and knock the Lakers off and it looked good until the last half of game 7. Now Paul Pierce wants to be a free agent. Arrggh

Although I’m personally a Lakers fan, the Celtics played an excellent game. Well coordinated defense and overall teamwork. If it weren’t for those damn free throws, it would probably have been an entirely different outcome. The Lakers missed a bunch of shots all throughout the game.

I think it would have been a different game, if Kendrick Perkins played, but it was just an unfortunate event for the C’s. It was a good game for the Lakers, and that game proved that Ron Ron was a good investment for them. I can’t wait to see the Lakers play against the three kings of the Miami Heat.

The Celtics best chance. But, Kobe is still athletic enough and one of the smartest basketball minds on the court, and Phil is the smartest player on the sidelines in the NBA.

Not to sound like it was predictable, but I had a feeling the Lakers were going to take the Championship and have a feeling they are even going to repeat again this year. The playoff picture seem to have a few teams that are new from time to time but its obvious who is going to the championship. For this year I see the Lakers and Celtics matching up again in the Finals, but before the Celtics get there Shaq has to beat his old teammate Lebron and Wade before he can face another old teammate, Kobe.

Just as I expected The Lakers would repeat the championship order, so did they. With Game 7 win over the Celtics (Lakers 83, Celtics 79), the former is at all-time career high. So my predictions win again! Yeeehawwww….
