Update: I am sorry to say that I have deleted a bunch of sites that were listed here due to the fact the owners had either removed the keyword luv plugin, switch to no follow, or there blog is no longer active. I updated this list on September 1st 2011 and as of this date are all confirmed dofollow keyword luv enabled blogs. I am still looking for more to add to this list so please contact me if you have one or know of one.

Keyword Luv plugin is another great way to reward your commentators. What it does is basically allow commentators to add keyword rich anchor text pointing to your website.This is great because it makes your blog look less spammy when users put keywords as their name.
For example if I were to add a comment and then add Everything Blogs as my name this doesn’t tell anyone what my name is and looks spammy but with keyword luv it allows you to do this instead Dan from Everything Blogs which looks a lot nicer and also gives the commentator the anchor text they choose which helps your serp rankings.

Nice list, although recently I’ve seen a lot of blogs that use KeywordLuv start to nofollow their comment links. I guess that since it’s easy for people to find blogs using KeywordLuv by the footprint it leaves spammers have started to abuse it.

I’m having trouble finding an answer to this question. I understand that THIS site features keywordLuv- does anyone know of a comprehensive list of sites that allow keywordLuv?
A blog has KeywordLuv – doesn’t mean it leaks PR juice. I jave no idea why they installed it in first place but you need to be aware of that and verify. Most bloggers will make a statement related to DoFollow in one form or another.

I think blogs that apply the nofollow tag are actually ‘losing business’ as finding blogs that dofollow are getting more and more links from other sources as a result. Some people blog purely to get a backlink (some spammers some at least participate) and other are really interested in the topic of the blog. At the end of the day, if two blogs are on the same subject and one follows whilst the other doesn’t, your more likely to comment on the do follow blog. But more importantly, the whole point of running a blog is to create a social network. Or am I missing something?

It is a great plug-in.It allow us to leave the keyword in the name field with our name and gives the link with our keyword.It is great for the commentator.It brings lot of traffic also.So win situation for all.

@Jason the only PR I will get from the plugin is if someone links to my page because they feel like it is a good resource to put on their site. It does help get traffic I can’t say it is the most quality traffic but it beats having no traffic.

I agree that it’s great to be able to post a comment, and get a little leg up in promoting your own site in return. It can however lead to the most spam filled comments, and the topic becomes too diluted to be worthwhile. If monitored and used correctly, it gets the thumbs up from me.

@Ric Thanks for the comment. I think these plugins do add value, hey look you just added a quality comment to make my site even better. The spam is blown way out askimet will catch most spam and it is very easy to delete other non quality comments.

Yeah this is true, I think the value added by commentators who write keyword rich comments that relate to the post content has got to outweigh the effort involved in removing spam.
I’ve already had 3 related comments on my blog since adding the keywordluv plugin yesterday. Obviously the visitors were looking for a backlink but at the same time they have given me original content that adds value to my blog.

Great list of KeywordLuv blogs Dan. It definitely makes it more meaningful to know who is contributing to the post with these blogs having this plugin installed.
KeywordLuv has caused me to quit spamming the name field. I can now find blogs that let me use my anchor text, so I can use my real name and still get the juice.
Still, a lot of doing some spammy comments because they still want the link juice desperately. However, I find this plug-in really helpful to other blogger out there who seek a kick start on search engine presence.

It should get you a fair few more comments…just watch for the spam though. I found a lot of comment spammers searched for the plugin…still good for generating etc user content though!

This keyword luv thing is new to me but having read throgh most of the posts here I now have a great understanding of how it works. However there does seem to be debate raging about spam comments and I wonder, apart from using Askimet, if anyone has a sure fire way to reduce spam comments to an absolute minimum?

I this this is a great plug-in. Not as many people using though. I been using this on my blogs for sometime now and it helps me rank better when I comment on sites that have the same interests as my site I list on the commentluv,keywordluv page.

Keywordluv and commentluv are great, but they attract a lot of spam. Now you can say that readers who visit your website just to comment are also visitors, but I wonder if I want just any visitor or rather quality visitors who also bring me something.
I’m very pleased with the concept but I wonder how long it’s going to last.

I think KeywordLuv is a good idea, giving people more incentive to comment and be rewarded for it; but in time spammers will simply abuse it and give everyone who wants to leave good comments a bad name. Thanks for the list though =)
