Update: I am sorry to say that I have deleted a bunch of sites that were listed here due to the fact the owners had either removed the keyword luv plugin, switch to no follow, or there blog is no longer active. I updated this list on February 12th 2010 and as of this date are all confirmed dofollow keyword luv enabled blogs. I am still looking for more to add to this list so please contact me if you have one or know of one.

Keyword Luv plugin is another great way to reward your commentators. What it does is basically allow commentators to add keyword rich anchor text pointing to your website.This is great because it makes your blog look less spammy when users put keywords as their name.
For example if I were to add a comment and then add Everything Blogs as my name this doesn’t tell anyone what my name is and looks spammy but with keyword luv it allows you to do this instead Dan from Everything Blogs which looks a lot nicer and also gives the commentator the anchor text they choose which helps your serp rankings.

Keyword Luv is definitely a great way to entice others to leave relevant content on your site. I’ve started incorporating it into all my sites but I have to moderate the responses to keep the spam out. That can turn into a full time job if the spammers put your site on a list. Thanks for the info.

I hope that this Keyword Luv trend is going to be around for a while, because it makes blogging more of a win-win situation (as long as people posting comments don’t abuse it): Blogs get relevant, well thought out comments, and those leaving comments get some SEO benefit out of it.
I also think that KeywordLuv is a great idea as I’ve always felt it too rude to leave a keyword in lieu of a name, with the result of this being a not-so-effective backlink. Many thanks for the list.

Keyword luv is a great plugin. Love it! I also love akismet because it catches most of the spam caused by having keyword luv. Seems that most of the spam comments are software generated and never pertain to the subject of the post.

I too, think keywordluv is brilliant. Clearly, it gives one the decency to leave his name properly while promoting the keyword of the site that he is trying to boost. I just hope that spammers won’t abuse this, otherwise we may say goodbye to another promising commenting system.

I am just starting to see the power of Do Follow plugins on my latest sites. I must have put up 20 wordpress blogs where no comments at all are left, but the newest have comments everyday. It definitely helps.

Its in the human nature they always try to spam something which gives them even a little bit of an advantage. I run a few forums and i had dofollow there before but had to change it to nofollow because of the amount of spam. Most of them are humans and not automated programs. Comments like ( Great Post ) ( Appreciate the contribution ) and ( Wow its amazing ) are posted quite often and at once one can know its spam.
I would only say if you need a backlink from a comment…you should earn it…at least read the post and comment if you have knowledge on it.

Alot of blogs are now removing the keyword luv plugin from there blogs because of spam.

I have found that a good 70-80% of blogs that used comment luv have disabled it and 90-95% that used keyword luv have disabled it. Probably due to spam.
