Mike Brown Vs Urijah Faber Rematch

by Danny on May 21, 2009

This is the fight I have been waiting for the rematch of Brown vs Faber.

The first match that pitted Mike Brown Vs Urijah Faber was a match that most mma fans were expecting Urijah Faber to continue his dominance in the WEC.Well the mma world and Urijah Faber was introduced to Mike Brown who shocked the mixed martial arts world and took Urijah Fabers title in Hollywood Florida at the Hard Rock Casino.

Urijah Faber is on a mission to regain his belt and looks to redeem himself in the rematch that will take place on Sunday June 7th, 2009 in Faber hometown of Sacramento California. Make sure you check this fight out and you can watch it for free live on versus.

I believe Faber took Brown just a little lightly the first match and wasn’t anticipating the power of Mike Brown. My prediction is Urijah “The California Kid” Faber will win with a submission although I wouldn’t be surprised if Brown beat him again. Either way I think it is going to be a great fight.

Hi there! I agree that both fighters are very good, and that they really are expert in their fields. I am really looking forward on their next fight and I’m betting together with you guys that Faber will win.

I watched this fight when it was on and it was a crazy war. I though Faber definatly won the first round but Brown was to strong on the ground for Faber but you have to say, it really could have been a different fight if Faber hadn’t broke his right hand and dislocated his left.

Faber vs Brown 3, id definately watch it!

@mmalink I think Brown has his number there was a few opportunities Faber had before he broke his hand to take out Brown but was unable to. I think if there is another rematch Brown has a huge physiological advantage over Faber.

Urijah Faber definitely didn’t see Mike Brown coming, which is why he was able to steal his title in Florida. I look forward to a rematch since I missed the one at the Hard Rock Casino.

Over confidence kills. Never take your competitor too lightly.

Always take your competitor seriously. But remember never get negative.

This could have gone either way though. I hadn’t noticed just how many oppurtunities Brown had until I watched it again on here. I don’t think anyone underestimated anyone, you just don’t do that at this level.

Even though Mike brown has won it again, faber has a fair chance to come back , dont worry faber we will do it next time.
