I would recommend using headspace plugin over all in one seo because its simple to use and also it solves all the need for on page seo.

Thanks for these tips, though at the moment they’re of no use to me but in a month or so I will need them. I am planning to setup a wordpress blog on a hosting package soon but still thinking on which topic I would focus my blog on. Yea, all of the above are on my standard checklist for a new wordpress blog. I’m not quite sure I agree about removing your site title from all of your page and post title tags, though. You could say it dilutes it, but you could also say that it offers more relevancy on each page for your internal linking and domain as a whole.
