Super Bowl XLIII will be have it’s team later on today and besides Pittsburgh I don’t think most people expected any of the other teams to be playing in the conference championship game. I am excited the game is being played in my hometown of Tampa this will be the first Super Bowl since we moved here from Boston seven years ago. The city will be buzzing once the winners are determined as the winners will no doubt be scrambling to make travel and housing arrangements for the big game.
Super Bowl tickets are always one of the toughest tickets but can be had if you want to pay through third party websites like StubHub.com and direct sellers on Craigslist. There are a ton of private owners renting out their homes, condos, and townhomes for the week of the Super Bowl and some offering daily rates.
The big event will boost the local Tampa economy and will spotlight the city of Tampa and all it has to offer. Temporary jobs are available from limousine drivers to workers at Raymond James stadium. There will be many events from concerts like the Super Bowl bash featuring Rihanna, Enrique Iglesiases, and Lifehouse at the Ford Amphitheater to celebrity bashes at the Hard Rock casino. If you are looking for fun for the whole family the NFL experience is a must do. Here is a calender of events.
I am looking for a Cinderella Super Bowl matchup of The Arizona Cardinals Vs The Baltimore Ravens I am not sure I will be able to handle a Keystone Super Bowl. Arizona is a home underdog getting four points in the NFC championship. The Pittsburgh Steelers are a six point favorite VS the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship game.

I live up in Jax…when we had the Super Bowl here (2004 i believe??), we were “sold a bill of goods” of how it would be such a boon for the economy…it was not at all. Tampa, I know is a bit different though.
