I found this feature when I recently log-in to my twitter account but I don’t know yet how I could make use of it. At least you’ve given us a heads up.

I’ve read so many ebooks and followed dozens of courses about making money via twitter. Believe me.. twitter is over hyped.

There are certain niche’s where you could use twitter to maybe slightly increase sales or drive traffic to your website, but besides that nope.. not for me.

This was a MUCH needed feature that Twitter needed. I personally stopped using twitter.com to tweet, instead switched to a desktop app like Seesmic or TweetDeck because they have this very feature built in. While I may have a couple thousand followers, there’s only a couple hundred that I want to see EVERY tweet from.

Now with this new List Feature, whenever I’m not at my pc, I can still have that friend filter, plus as an added bonus, my tweeps can see that I put them on a list. Which makes them happy.

You know twitter lists are just another thing on my to do list. My first goal is to break 250 followers which I haven’t been able to do yet.

I replaced all my groups/favorites on all my tweetdeck, hootsuite and other applications and strictly rely on lists now. I agree with you about having lists called “best” or “top” anything, instead my lists are pretty bland like “Bloggers”, “Poets”, “Technology”…etc I use them like categories. I also have my Power50 list for the P50 group of course.

I really love the new Twitter List feature, it´s a nice way to organice your followers and the people you are following!

This is a real advantage, especialy if you have 1000+ people you follow!
